High School Transition letter September 2026

Fall/Winter  

• October 5th- All 8th grade students will attend a presentation during the Hive period with representatives from Southeastern and Bristol Agricultural High Schools to learn about opportunities available to them. 

• Students will attend a separate presentation on another date TBD with representatives from Mansfield High School to learn about those opportunities.

• October 17th and 18th- Bristol Aggie Fall Show

• November 14th- Southeastern Open House

• November 19th- Opportunities Night presentation at Mansfield High School at 6pm in the auditorium for families to hear more about the opportunities available to students at MHS. 

Spring 2027 

• QMS 8th grade teachers make high school course recommendations. 

• Discussions with all 8th graders to talk about Mansfield High School and the registration process. 

• MHS Program of Studies, course recommendations, and online registration material will be available. 

• 8th grade parents will be invited to Mansfield High School to attend a presentation to learn more about course offerings and the online registration process. 

• Course Request confirmation will be mailed home to students. 

• June 2027- 8th grade students tour Mansfield High School and participate in a Q&A.
